Why TOPENS AD5 Swing Gate Opener - Highlights Durable & Reliable: The TOPENS AD5 Automatic Gate Opener features two 24VDC 50W motors with higher efficiency, lower power consumption, and greater safety. It is designed for medium-duty dual swing gates up to a maximum of 550lbs in weight or 16ft in length per gate leaf. This ultra-quiet electric gate motor will bring your family an easier and more comfortable life.

Battery Powered, Solar Capable: The AD5 Gate Opener can be powered by a 24V 12Ah Automotive/Marine type battery (NOT included). You can also use the adapter (included), or a 24V 20W solar panel & solar controller (NOT included), or both at the same time to charge the battery. It is also designed to use 100-240VAC electricity as a power source with the additional TOPENS DPS180-U AC-DC Power Supply that is sold separately.

AD5 Features & Installation Modes Smart Chip & Manual Release Key: The “auto-close” function ultimately secures the property after you leave. It reverses upon the first obstruction and stops upon the second sequential obstruction during gate operation. Adjust the stall force to get your desired open/close obstruction sensitivity. Soft start and soft stop ensure long-lasting performance. The above modules can be adjusted on the smart control panel directly. Equipped with a manual release key in case of power outage or when you lose your remote.

Gate Capability: The AD5 gate opener works well for medium-duty dual swing gates up to a maximum of 16ft in length (correspondingly 100lbs in weight) per gate leaf. It is also suitable for swing gates up to 550lbs in weight (correspondingly 4ft in length) per gate leaf. Note that the maximum gate length capability is inversely proportional to the gate weight.

Max. Opening Angle of the Gate in Pull-to-Open Installation Mode: The gate is allowed to open inwards when viewed from inside the property with the pull-to-open mode. The related bracket is included. In this mode, the maximum opening angle of the gate varies from 68° - 120° depending on the installation of the bracket.

Max. Opening Angle of the Gate in Push-to-Open Installation Mode: The gate is allowed to open outwards when viewed from inside the property with the push-to-open mode. How to Power This Gate Opener? (NOTE: The tiny CR2025 3V button cell batteries that come with the package are ONLY for the remote control.) Power Mode 1 (Default Mode) - By the Adapter and Batteries: Batteries as the main power source, use the adapter to charge the batteries. Recommended where AC electricity is accessible but not stable. Requires an additional 24V 12Ah Automotive/Marine type battery (NOT included). 2 pcs 12V batteries connected in series for 24V (Battery NOT included).

Power Mode 2 – Use AC Electricity Only Use AC electricity to power the system. Recommended where AC electricity is accessible and stable. DPS180-U AC-DC Power Supply is offered online. The Power Supply (NOT included) is plugged into a 100-240VAC 50Hz/60Hz outlet and delivers 24VDC to power the system directly.
