Durable & Reliable Single Swing Gate Opener

The TOPENS A5 Automatic Gate Opener features a 24VDC 50W motor with higher efficiency, lower power consumption, and greater safety. It is designed as a high-performance kit for Medium Duty single swing gates up to a maximum of 550lbs. in weight or 16ft. in length. This ultra-quiet electric gate motor will bring your family an easier and more comfortable life.

Battery Powered, Solar Capable

The A5 Gate Opener can be powered by a 24V 12Ah Automotive/Marine type battery (NOT included). You can use the adapter (included), or a 24V 20W solar panel & solar controller (NOT included), or both at the same time to charge the battery. It is also designed to use 100-240VAC electricity as a power source with the additional TOPENS DPS180-U AC-DC Power Supply that is sold separately.

Multiple Applications, Easy DIY Installation

Suitable for all types of single swing gates, ideal for driveway gates made of steel, wood, vinyl, and shaped as panel, tube, and chain-link. A5 Features & Installation Modes

Smart Chip & Manual Release Key

The “auto-close” function ultimately secures the property after you leave. Stops in case of obstruction during gate opening, and reverses in case of obstruction during gate closing. Adjust the stall force to get your desired open/close obstruction sensitivity. Higher stall force level, lower obstruction sensitivity. Soft start and soft stop ensure long-lasting performance. The above modules can be adjusted on the smart control panel directly. Equipped with a manual release key in case of power outage or when you lose your remote.

Gate Capability

The A5 gate opener works well for the medium duty single swing gate up to a maximum of 16ft. in length (correspondingly 100lbs. in weight). Suitable for the swing gate up to 550lbs. in weight (correspondingly 4ft. in length). Kindly note that the max. gate length capability is inversely proportional to the gate weight.

Max. Opening Angle of the Gate in Pull-to-Open Installation Mode

The gate is allowed to open inwards viewed from inside property with the pull-to-open mode. The related bracket is included. In this mode, the maximum opening angle of the gate varies from 68° - 120° depending on the installation of the bracket.

Max. Opening Angle of the Gate in Push-to-Open Installation Mode

The gate is allowed to open outwards viewed from inside property with the push-to-open mode. The related bracket is included. In this mode, the maximum opening angle of the gate varies from 91° - 112° depending on the installation of the bracket.

For your gate safety, only TOPENS authorized remotes and wireless accessories are allowed to operate the TOPENS Gate Opener. Operation Range: 65ft. How to Power This Gate Opener?

Power Mode 1 (Default Mode) - By the Adapter and Batteries

Batteries as the main power source, use the adapter to charge the batteries. Recommended where AC electricity is accessible, but not stable. Requires an additional 24V 12Ah Automotive/Marine type battery (NOT included). 2 pcs 12V batteries connected in series for 24V (Battery is NOT included).

Power Mode 2 – Use AC Electricity Only

Use the AC electricity to power the system. Recommended where AC electricity is accessible and stable. DPS180-U AC-DC Power Supply is offered online. The Power Supply (NOT included) is plugged into a 100-240VAC 50Hz/60Hz outlet and delivers 24VDC to power the system directly. Release the clutch and open the gate manually in case of a power outage. Note: DPS180-U can NOT connect with a battery or solar panel.

Power Mode 3 – By Solar Panels and Batteries

Batteries as the main power source, use only the solar panel and solar charge controller to charge the batteries. Recommended in remote locations such as a farm, ranch, pasture, etc. Requires an additional 24V 12Ah Automotive/Marine type battery. TOPENS TSP30W 30-Watt 24V Solar Panel Charging Kit is available online.

Power Mode 4 – By the Adapter, Solar Panels, and Batteries

Batteries as the main power source, use the adapter, solar panel, and solar charge controller together to charge the batteries. Recommended where AC electricity is accessible, but not stable. Requires an additional 24V 12Ah Automotive/Marine type battery. The battery and TSP30W Solar Panel Charging Kit are sold separately.
