The TOPENS DKC500S Solar Electric Gate Opener features a STRONG 1/4 HP 180W DC motor with higher efficiency, low power consumption, and greater safety. Designed for Heavy-Duty slide gates up to 1300lbs. in weight and 40ft. in length, this ultra-quiet automatic gate motor provides ease and comfort for your family.

Solar Power Supported

Use the included 30W solar panel charging kit to charge the battery, or add a 24V 12Ah automotive/marine type battery (not included) as the main/back-up power source. The solar-powered system can also operate independently without AC electricity, offering flexible power modes for your selection.

Suitable for all types of sliding gates made of steel, wood, vinyl, and shaped as tube, panel, and chain-link. Perfect for residential, commercial, courtyard, farm, and ranch applications. DKC500S Features & Benefits

Smart Chip

The “auto-close” function secures the property after you leave, and the unique “midway mode” allows the gate to open only a few feet for incoming vehicles. The gate stops in case of obstruction during opening and reverses in case of obstruction during closing.

Simple Setting

The intelligent control board allows for easy switching of the open/close direction and reliable electromagnetism limit for easy adjustment.

TOPENS Remote Control

Adopting advanced TOPENS code technology, the remote control prevents unwanted entry, with an operation range of 65ft. (20m). The system supports up to 8 remote controls on its own and up to 250 with the TOPENS ERM12 External Receiver (sold separately).

Manual Release Key

Equipped with a manual release key in case of power outage or loss of remote.

How to Power This Gate Opener?

Power Mode 1 - Batteries as main power source, using the solar panel and solar charge controller to charge the batteries. Recommended for remote locations such as farms and ranches.

Power Mode 2 – By 110V-120VAC electricity and back-up batteries, use the AC electricity, solar panel, and solar charge controller together to charge the batteries. Recommended where AC electricity is accessible, but not stable.

Power Mode 3 - Use only the 110V-120VAC electricity to power the system. Recommended where AC electricity is accessible and stable.

Power Mode 4 - Use the 110V-120VAC electricity and the back-up batteries to power the system. Recommended where AC electricity is accessible, but not stable.
